Programme Highlights
The workshop has been successfully run for 22 times before. It is designed to enable engineers to exploit the undoubted opportunities through welding, whilst avoiding potential problems related to the use of welding. This workshop will cover topics such as welding processes and technology, the metallurgy aspects of welding, the effects of welding on common structural metals, the implications of welding for the engineer, the testing and assessment of welds and the application of fracture mechanics in quality assurance procedures and defect assessment.
