Programme Highlights
Quarry is a place for reserving many rock-like materials,
which can be explored and broken into pieces to become construction materials.
In exploration of quarry, the rock profile to be determined with using
explosive to split into pieces and then broken down into different size of
aggregate by means of mechanical power –driven machinery. Throughout the visit,
the participants can learn the work flow of aggregation formation and their
particle size separation and understand the quality control of aggregate. The
quarry factory was located at Huitong.
Registration & Enquiries
The number of participants is limited to 25. Cost HK$ 220
for transportation and lunch. The participant should purchase his/her own
insurance for the visit. For registration, please fill in the HKIE application
standard form and email to lamchising@hotmail.com. Only the successful
application will be notified for the payment method on or before 20 November
2019. For enquiry please contact Ir CS Lam at 91527659. CPD certificate will be
issued after attending the factory visit.
Note:
1.
The successful applicant need to equip with his/her
own safety helmet, safety shoes and safety vest for the visit. The host
organizer will arrange safety helmet for the visit if necessary.
2.
The host organizer has right to change the
itinerary without prior notice. For personal interest, the participants should
purchase his own insurance.
3. The seminar will be cancelled if No. 8 or higher
Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued / still in
effect within two hours before the starting time
4.
A valid passport /Chinese Travel Card /Home Return
Permit is required for the visit. Applicants should make their own arrangement
for the Visas when planning to visit Mainland China
5. No personal insurance would be covered in the
visit, the participant would purchase his /her own travel allowance for the
visit.
