Speaker: Mr, Harris Sun

Mr. Harris Sun is the founder of RaSpect, a predictive AI platform for sustainability. He is passionate in innovate in innovation and dedicated in entrepreneurship. He founded the company RaSpect Intelligence Inspection Limited in 2017. The company was also selected in the list of Forbes Asia 100 To Watch 2021 It is backed by well-known VC funds and has won many international and local awards. He was invited to Austria for the presentation in the World Summit Awards and has been awarded by the AI-powered building inspection technology. He led a couple of publications in local and international conference and has been recognized with patents. He was named as “The Most Inspiring AI CEOs to watch in 2020” by Industry Wired and Winner of 2020 AABI Torch Award for Promising Entrepreneur “ by Asia Association of Business Incubation.

He was one of the founding members of the Innovation Centre of the Cathay Pacific Airways. He led the team to develop aircraft inspection by using AI and drone technology. He holds a bachelors’ degree in computer science from the University of Hong Kong and a master’s degree in computer science from the Chines University of Hong Kong.

Programme Highlights

With more buildings aging problem in Hong Kong, building inspection have become more important to access building conditions for professional to carry out follow up actions such as maintenance, refurbishment, and demolishment.

New technologies have been developed in various aspects of building inspection to improve its effectiveness and quality. This webinar aims to share with participants the latest technology (e.g. artificial intelligence, drones, infra-red thermography, etc.) in building inspection.
