Programme Highlights

 

This project includes construction of marine viaduct for the connection of the Tseung Kwan O -Lam Tin Tunnel and Cross Bay Link. This will link up TKO with the new business center in Kowloon East and provide an alternative route for the residents. It includes more than 50nos of large diameter bored pile and subsequent superstructure construction work on marine. The visit is to understand the method and machinery to be used in sea piling construction, challenge that faced and how to protect environment in marine piling work.

Representative(s) from the Shanghai Tunnel (HK) Ltd Co. Ltd will take the participants to see the construction view and present the process of construction in the public area.

 

 

Registration & Enquiries

 

The number of participants is limited to 20.  Participant must equip with their own safety helmet, safety vest and safety shoes for the visit. Pre-registration is required. For registration, please email to lamchising@hotmail.com

The deadline submission is set on 25 April 2019. Only successful applicant should be notified for confirmation. For enquiries, please contact Ir CS Lam at 91527659.   CPD certificate will be issued after the visit...

Note: HKIE-Material Division will not include insurance in the visit, the participant should take responsibility for his/her own liability. For personal interest, the successful participant should purchase his/her own insurance. The successful applicant must equip with his/her own PPE (Safety helmet, safety vest and safety shoes) for the visit.
