Speaker: Raymond Cheng

Raymond has over 20 years’ experience in chemical and environmental testing and also familiar with test standard, in particular air, wastewater and material testing. He also has hand-on experience on operating and maintenance different analytical equipment, including GC/MS, HPLC/DAD, ICP/OES, ICP/MS, FIA, purge and trap GC/MS etc. Currently, he is the HKAS Approved Signatory for reports of environmental testing and material chemical testing. Also, he is employed as assessor of Hong Kong Accreditation Services (HKAS) for environmental testing since 2010.

Programme Highlights

This seminar will focus on the requirements and application of the AS/NZX 4020:2018 standard on plumbing products in respect of the current General Acceptable (GA*) scheme under Water Supplies Department.

·       Classification of “end-of-line fittings” and “in-line” fittings

·       Test method (Appendix H) – Extraction procedure for “in-line” fittings

·       Scaling Factors for “in-line” products
