Highlights:
“Green
Burial” is a way to handle human ashes of the deceased in a more environmental
friendly and sustainable manner. In
recent years, it is observed to become more prevalent than ever in many cities
or countries. In the global world, we
are facing the problem of increasing death rate with scarce land resource. The deceased returns to nature by adopting Green
Burial which is the best way to pass on our Love to the future generations.
Tsang Tsui Garden of Remembrance covers an
area of 4 800 square metres, it strives to integrate with the natural
environment featuring a variety of flowers and plants in a scenic and tranquil
environment, with memorial walls for mounting plaques in memory of the deceased. Family members and friends can come to these
tranquil surroundings at any time to remember their loved ones. Design of venue
and its related facilities is in a human centric and environmentally friendly
style as to increase public awareness to adopt green burial.
