Visit Hightlight:

Established in 1982, the water valve factory has acquired a number of the national patented products and edited or co-edited more than 20 industrial standards for the government department. It produces a varied range of products comprising gate valves, butterfly valves, check valves, strainers, backflow preventer, etc. Factory Mutual has approved its pressure reducing valves. Other valve products have been gained approval from WSD. The factory supplies valve products to a variety of clients and customers such as Shen Zhen Metro, Daxing Airport. During the visit, the valve technology and national/testing standards will be introduced to the participants. The product manufacturing process, quality control, testing and approval will also be discussed.

Proposed Itinerary:

8:15 - 8:30 am - gather at Futain port

8:30 am – walk to shuttle bus station

11:00 am – arrive at Factory

11:00 am - 17:00 pm – introduction, seminar, lunch, factory tour, question & answer session

18:00 pm – dinner

19:30 pm – bus returning to Futain port

Registration Fee: 

Free of charge for Associate Members (see Remark 1)

$150 for other classes of HKIE member or Licensed Plumber (see Remark 2).

Remarks:

1.     For Associate Members, a copy of the HKIE membership card should be sent together with the application form.

2.     For Licensed Plumbers, a copy of the Plumber’s licence should be sent together with the application form.
