Programme Highlights

Trunk Road T2 and Cha Kwo Ling Tunnel form the middle section of Route 6, connecting the Central Kowloon Route (CKR) to the west and the main tunnel of the Tseung Kwan O -Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT) to the east. The project comprises 3.4 km of dual two-lane trunk roads and underground tunnels. The tunnels will be constructed mainly using two 14 m diameter Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) drilling concurrently. 

During the visit, the participants can learn how innovative technologies, products, and construction methods can be developed and applied in the construction activities to speed up construction work progress and cost saving in achieving quality control, safety and reducing environmental impact.
