Reinforcement bar is a major material for the construction industry.
In this specific industry, off-site prefabrication of reinforcement products is
an effective approach for enhancing productivity, quality and safety
performance of construction works. With over forty years’ experience in metal
products, Golik Metal provides a wide of product portfolio to serve most
reinforcing concrete needs in Hong Kong, including standard and premium quality
welded wire mesh products, prefabricated large diameter Bored Pile Cages, Lattice
Grider and complete cut-and-bent reinforcement solutions. Golik also
manufactures and supplies a wide variety of concreting accessories such as bar
chairs, safety caps, tie wires, dowel bars, Hy-Rib® permanent formwork as well
as expanded metal products such as beads and laths for plastering and
industrial meshes for different applications. More details of Golik’s products

The main manufacturing base of Golik Metal is at Tai Po Industrial
Estate with area of around 23,000 m2. The annual production capacity of the
factory reaches 80,000 tonnes of reinforcement per year. Products and
manufacture processes fulfil ISO9001, ISO14001 and relevant British Standards.
The fabrication processes of various prefabricated metal products will be
introduced during the factory tour, followed by a sharing discussion section. Visitors
can visualize on site the industrial practices of reinforcement prefabrication
and quality control processes. Innovative discussion sharing is also welcome in
the sharing section.
Registration and Enquiries
The visit is limited to 25 persons, and it is free of charge. Online registration before the deadline on 28 December 2024
is welcome. Successful applicants will be informed separately. Participants of
the visit event are advised to equip themselves with personal protective
equipment (Safety helmet, safety vest and safety shoes) for the visit. For
